France Angels - Business Angels' National Federation - is organising the 18th Business Angels Week!
From 27 November to 2 December 2023, the aim of this unmissable week is to promote the activity of Business Angels in France, by raising awareness among potential investors and presenting the essential role of Business Angels to the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem. Paris Business Angels: at the heart of innovation
The theme of this year's Business Angels Week is "Financing innovation: the central role of business angels". This theme is inspired by Paul Midy's report, which recommends measures to support startups and innovative SMEs. France Angels contributed to the drafting of this report by supporting amendments, some of which were adopted in the 2024 Finance Act.
This is an important topic for PBA, as Paris Région Angels (PRA) is organising a conference on "Business Angels and startups, the ambitions of the new Finance Law" on Thursday 30 November at 12:00 at the Hôtel de Région Île-de-France.
PRA is a collective of BA networks in Île-de-France, of which Paris Business Angels is a member, whose aim is to encourage investment and support by Business Angels in innovative companies.
This event will feature :
speeches by Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Region, and Paul Midy, Member of Parliament for Paris;
pitches by 3 start-ups from the Le Perqo incubator currently in the process of raising funds, one of which will be awarded the prize for the most promising start-up by the PRA jury;
and finally, a convivial cocktail party to continue the discussions and networking opportunities.
